SUGAR CANE CARNIVAL 2002
Round Hill recently held the Sugar Cane Carnival, the annual fundraiser
for the Hanover Charities, largest charitable organization in Western Jamaica.
The event was attended by socialites like Ralph and Ricky Lauren, Paul and
Daisy Soros, Bob and Veronique Pittman, Amb. Sue Cobb, Amb. Jean Antoin
Berniard, Prime Minister PJ Patterson, Lyn Whittfield and others. "Last
year we raised US$ 112,000.00 for our local community, which is very hard
to beat. Says Katrin Casserly, Sales and Marketing Manager at Round Hill
and Vice Chairman of Hanover Charities.
